Linda Baird is a Moda Health member and an employee. A few years ago, she learned that a biopsy had come back positive for Stage I breast cancer. Thankfully, she caught it early.
“I get mammograms every year and my medical team credits the screening for catching my cancer early enough to be treated with surgery and radiation. I feel very fortunate. I’ve now been cancer free for seven years, feel good, and encourage everyone to get their mammograms each year. It’s easy and covered by insurance. The more I share my story, the more people I hope will see that these screenings really do save lives.”
