Moda Select Network

As of Jan. 1, 2026, the Pioneer Network is being renamed to the Moda Select Network. This is a name change only. The Moda Select Network covers members residing in the following boroughs: Municipality of Anchorage, Fairbanks North Star, Haines, Kenai Peninsula, Ketchikan Gateway, Mat-Su, Petersburg, Municipality of Skagway, City of Juneau, City of Sitka, City of Wrangell, Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, and Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area.

Three benefit levels to serve you

With the Moda Select Network, you'll enjoy access to a network of trusted providers in Alaska. This is a three-tier network, and you're encouraged to receive care from providers in Tier I, where you'll pay the least amount for care.

• Tier One
  • Receive the best benefit by using Tier One providers. You'll pay the least amount for care. Includes:
    • Central Peninsula Hospital
    • Alaska Regional Hospital
    • Bartlett Regional Hospital
    • Fairbanks Memorial Hospital
    • Mat-Su Regional Medical Center
    • PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center
    • South Peninsula Hospital
    • And other contracted providers. See our Tier I providers available in your area.
• Tier Two
  • Includes First Choice Network in Alaska
• Tier Three
  • Tier III is out of network. You'll pay the highest amount for care.
  • Includes all other Alaska providers not in Tier One or Tier Two
  • Providers can balance bill additional charges

Networks outside Alaska

As of January 1, 2026, when you're traveling outside of Alaska, you'll get full-service medical care with in-network benefits through:

• Moda Select service areas in Idaho and Texas
• Affinity Network Service area in Oregon
• Aetna® PPO Network through the Aetna Signature Administrators® nationwide. This includes service areas outside the Moda Select Network in Idaho, Texas and outside the Affinity Network in Oregon.
